How the Chakras of the Earth Reflect Our Own

How the Chakras of the Earth Reflect Our Own

Just as our bodies have 7 main chakras, so does the Earth. Each of the Earth’s 7 main chakras are conduits for the energy that flows through them. This energy makes up the spiritual body that is our world.

It’s remarkable how our own system is a smaller version of the Earth: 70% of the Earth is covered by water and the human body is approximately 70% water… the body is made up of trillions of cells and the Earth contains trillions of life forms… when one ecosystem suffers, the whole Earth suffers and when one organ in the body suffers, the whole body suffers.

This is why caring for our Earth’s chakras is as important as caring for our own.

Earth’s Root Chakra

Just like our bodies, the Earth has 7 main chakras.

The Earth’s root chakra is Mount Shasta, located in the Cascade Mountain Range which runs from Northern California to the Canadian border. The Earth’s root chakra is its basis for all the world’s energy. It is the foundation of the chakra system and provides stability to ecosystems and wildlife all over the world. Energy rises, like a geyser, bringing the life force to all living organisms who inhabit the Earth. As the world turns on its axis, this foundation energy is carried to all areas. This energy is very raw and has not taken on any form yet. It is simply released into the atmosphere and carried to all parts of the world.

Earth’s Sacral Chakra

The Titicaca Stone, found at Lake Titicaca at the foot of the Andean Mountains, is the physical location of the Earth’s sacral chakra. The sacral chakra governs sexuality in humans and it serves the same purpose in the Earth. However, as an Earth chakra, it governs all species and is primarily associated with evolutionary advancements through reproduction of all the species. Without this particular chakra there would never have been a drive to spread life and populate the Earth. It would have remained barren and we would never have made it so far as a species.

Each chakra is a powerful energy center.

Earth’s Solar Plexus Chakra

Uluru, formerly known as Ayer’s Rock in the heart of the Australian outback, is where we find the location of the third Earth chakra. This site has been a sacred place to the indigenous people of Australia for thousands of years. It is a majestic, highly energetically-charged place. Uluru is charged with vitality and creative energies. Here you see energy starting to take a more solidified form as healing power is concentrated here and sent out to the rest of the world. The power to take control of our lives and create comes from this chakra point. The Earth and all of its inhabitants gain the power to heal. We are provided with the energy of survival and lasting health. Legends foretell that some day soon a burst of energy unlike ever before will come from Uluru to heal all that it is broken and needs healing on this Earth.

Earth’s Heart Chakra

The Earth’s heart chakra is located in Southwest England in the Vale of Avalon. The towns of Glastonbury and Shaftesbury form the center of this chakra. Love, acceptance and forgiveness pulsate out from this point just as they do within our own heart chakras. The energies from the solar plexus chakra are funneled through this area and sent onward to cover the entire Earth. It has been said that the Holy Grail was brought to Glastonbury for safekeeping. This area has been found to be a powerful source of love energy and compassion. The loving kindness that radiates from there is palpable to many.

Earth’s Throat Chakra

Caring for the Earth's chakras is vitally important!

There is a circle of landmarks that hold the Earth’s throat chakra. The Great Pyramid of Giza, Mount Sinai and the Mount of Olives makeup the area in which this chakra gathers its energies. If our world has a true voice, then it is the core between these three areas that allow it to be spoken and heard. So many biblical stories and interactions with the Divine have happened here so one cannot deny the potent power of connection and communication that can be felt all around these landmarks. This chakra has allowed mankind to reach out and speak out to the world as well as be heard by all who will lend an ear.

Earth’s Third Eye Chakra

The third eye chakra of the Earth differs from the other seven because it is constantly moving from one physical location to another. Every era it moves one twelfth of the way around the world. At the dawn of each global shift the Earth’s third eye chakra is opened in the new location it has moved to, providing clarity of sight and focus. Currently, the potent energies of the third eye chakra are residing in the same areas as the Earth’s heart chakra in England. The Earth and all of its inhabitants must regularly have their eyes, including their third eye, reopened, or reawakened, to the universe existing around them. This allows us all to be propelled forward on our personal journeys of growth as well as the Earth’s unified journey of evolution. The energy from this chakra motivates and empowers this momentum.

Earth’s Crown Chakra

Love the Earth as you love yourself! The Earth’s crown chakra is located above the Tibetan Plateau high in the Himalayas at the peak of Mount Kailas. The energy pulsating from this location is said to bring enlightenment and connection with the Divine. This energy center is the inspiration for life, growth and development on Earth.  This area is highly revered by the Tibetan people and many spiritual traditions. The energy that is concentrated here flows out to all areas of the world and allows mankind the opportunity to rise to their higher selves and connect with the Divine Entity.

It’s important that these Earth chakras be maintained and kept open to keep the Earth healthy and vital. Become attuned with the Earth chakra system; care for it; and you will feel aligned with the spiritual energies of the universe!
